House in Parque Miramar

22 piles, 29 beams, 26 walls, and 70 slabs—147 precast concrete components manufactured off-site—form the exposed structure of the House in Parque Miramar. Like pieces in a game, their assembly and placement in space organize a sequence of rooms and courtyards.




Deliberately left exposed, the structural elements give the house its material character. Each piece participates both in the constructive logic and in the domestic experience.







The language of the processes that made the construction possible is not concealed once the work is completed, but remains present in the everyday life of its inhabitants.





The adoption of an industrialized system allowed different construction stages to overlap: while the components were produced in the factory under controlled conditions, the foundations were prepared on site. In this way, much of the house was conceived off-site, shortening construction time and resulting in a cleaner process, with less material waste and a precise execution.









From the street to the lake, the house unfolds through a sequence of interior spaces interwoven with three dry courtyards of equal dimensions, where subtle variations of light, vegetation, and materiality create distinct atmospheres.









Running parallel to this sequence, water from the lake flows slowly through a delicate ground-level rill located along one side of the house. Its gentle movement introduces a constant murmur that accompanies daily life, bringing freshness and calm to the environment.
