The word «FROM» is a preposition that invites us to think about the origins of the entities with which we work and their possible future realities and relationships.

About us:

FROM is an architecture office focused on searching conscious answers for the construction of better futures.

FROM develops projects from the intersection of prefab construction processes, work in highly natural environments, the transformation of existing urban structures, and the cultural practices of an expanded field of architecture.

Background:

FROM resumes processes and interests worked on in the office MAPA since 2013.

During this time, its production has received recognition such as the Interior Design Magazine Best of the Year Award, Dezeen Award, the Ibero American Architecture And Urbanism Biennial, the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize and the Paulista Association of Art Critics' Award, and was part of the curatorial team for the Uruguay Pavilion at the 18th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.

Its work has been published in TIME Magazine, Financial Times, Wallpaper*, Dwell, Interior Design, Azure, Wired, Elle, Arquitectura Viva, Casa Vogue, and by the publishers Taschen, Thames & Hudson, Gestalten and Arquine, among others.
